Sub,
Would it be possible to pick Windows' time format up, so we can get 24-hour time format if that is what's chosen in Windows?
This should also apply to the web interface.
Thanks,

It does use you system's configured date/time formats.

It doesn't appear to for me. I have my system set to 24 hr time yet the guide, etc. show in AM/PM format.

Here in NZ, the default regional settings use a 12hr clock with am/pm.

If I go set my regional settings to Swedish, or any other locale that has a 24hr clock, then Microsoft's date formatting API seems to correctly produce a 24hr time.

I have my time format set to HH:mmConfuseds (i.e., 24-hour format), even if my overall regional format is set to United States (I do this, because many programs don't understand date formats unless US is specified - for instance the Weather Plugin will not work if I set my regional setting to Denmark).

I tried to specify Denmark as the regional setting, and then I do get the correct 24-hour time format.

It seems that you are not picking the time format "override" up which you get by clicking "Customize" on the Regional Setting in Control Panel...

possibly because the customised settings you use are user based not system based, and gbpvr uses the systems format

Yes, I think you're right that the Microsoft API I use for formatting dates for display is ignoring any date format overrides. Unfortunately there is no easy fix for this - you'll just have to make do, or switch to a locale that uses a 24hr clock by default. I'm not changing every single line of code that displays a date...

That is quite strange, my windows xp both speaks danish and thinks it's in denmark, but I don't have any problems with the weather plugin.
