OK. The sound issue has finally been remedied, YAY! I changed the config_recoders.xml file to show the following:
<crossbarRoutings>1-0;3-3</crossbarRoutings>

Unfortunately it's on to the next problem. When I'm in liveTV mode and I press the pause button, the window just goes black (the only way out seems to be to close the window). It does seem to create a file, but when I playback the file it's just black. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help with the sound Normanr.

Nevermind, solved my own problem. It was with the A/V Muxer I had selected. Changed it to Snapstream MPEG Muxer and it did the trick.

Only problem now is I have no audio with the recording :-( Will fiddle with a few more settings I guess.

See if you can get screenshot of the graph created during timeshifting/recording.

Also I have tried the 'ATI Avivo Video Converter' encoders and I can happily give them my stamp of approval. (There's also a 'tweaked' copy of the converter available for people without an ATI card in their machine.)

I'm fairly sure that card has BDA drivers? If so, you should be able to get it to work without any plugins - though you may need add a section to bda.ini.

I recently set-up GBPVR on my system. I am using a wintv-go card with a software decoder (Moonlight). I attempted to record a show and next to the show in the recordings menu in GBPVR it says failed.
I am attaching my logs to see if anyone can de-crypt them.
I do not know if this error is due to a mis-configed something or maybe my software decorder?
Thanks in advance.

Normanr, I just wanted to let you know that my setup is working fine now. My sound works during recording and everything. It just needed a computer restart apparently. Thanks again for your hard work.

pBS: you'd have to hexedit the dll that provides the capture source. GraphEdit should be able to tell you which file you should be looking at.

collindv: Great to hear.

odlay75: Can you provide the full logs from the config/gbpvr/gbpvrrecordingservice apps, also a screenshot of the config settings. You need to install an encoder if you want to record. The new ATI ones work very well, but otherwise you can use the elecard ones.

I too am getting the Error: Unspecified Error.

Has anyone had any luck getting the old STB (Bt848) TV PCI Pro to work with GBPVR?

I have the universal WDM driver that works for S-Video and Composite, but cannot find app that will control TV Tuner.

JawBone: logs of everything please, and a config screenshot, and one from GraphEdit if you can.
