it would be nice if you could just press a button on the remote ("Go" or something on hauppauge remote, not sure on mce) that would take you directly to live tv, so you dont have to navigate back to the main menu and goto live tv, or if your in live tv that buttons function would take you to the tv guide. i often find myself wanting to check out the tv guide during live tv (since the miniguide isnt fully finished yet), and well if i cant find any programs to watch, ill just check out live tv. just be handy, shouldnt be to hard to do, just got to find the right button.

This would be very nice, I've wished for it but never posted. Sub has been great granting 3 out of 4 things I asked for and didn't want to push my luck.

Once again thanks sub.

yeah i often feel like im asking to much to [Image: smile.gif], i just figure if know one else likes the idea it wont be done, and if enough people like it (and well sub) it may be implemented (well one day). i just love the fact that we can give feedback and it is listened to, where as microsoft just wouldnt care [Image: smile.gif]

Currently I use GBPVR mostly for music. I find myself using another app for PVR functions. The main reasons is you can't do nothing else when watching tv or recording. This other app lets me look at the scheduled recording, my favorites, the guide, search the guide and change my settings while still watching the tv or a recording. They even have something like the mini guide that will let you see whats in the next or previous time slots. It will even go into the next day too. GBPVR needs to allow features like this to make it easier to watch tv and recordings. This is the main reason why my wife will not use GBPVR. I tried setting her up with the MVP but she feels it takes too long to find what she wants to watch. I have over two hundred recordings and it does take too long to navigate.

these features are on the way, but sub is focusing on more important features, like time shifting etc, hes pretty muched solved the pvr350 issue (well i no longer have any problems with 0.238, that was the only thing sage had over gbpvr, until now).  it would be nice if live tv/recording could play in the background under the menu items though. or a little window like in media portal/xbmc (replacement background probably be easier to do thou).

I dont use sage it is ctpvr and it makes the window smaller and moves it around to different areas when you do other things. That overlay menu stuff I find difficult to see things clearly.

yeah i never could get the osd display via the pvr350 to work right (huge black bar on bottom) and with the 15 day trial i couldnt get xmltv working, i saw no reason to spend US$75 on that. (max i wud spend on software is US$50, well NZ$100 whatever that exchanges to on any give day). im really impressed with latest version of gbpvr, working pretty flawlessly (a few bugs, nothing really major).
