I've never heard of anyone using this device to date. As the first user, you'll need to add a section to the bda.ini file for this device. You can use GraphEdit to find the appropriate names. If you use the forum search feature you should find some screenshots on where to get the names from GraphEdit.

this thing has analouge through a phillips hardware mpeg chipset as well as the atsc you think the analouge could work too?
just curious right now I don't think I will be able to get the hdtv going until I try a new antenna.
but I'll search for that to figure both out
can you search for analouge too?

OK I just looked in the forum thread actually your post and I got the following problems I compared what is in the bda.ini with what you have on the screen and there is much more information there than is on the screen where you get all the lines from ?

No, I doubt you'll get the analog side of this device to work.

All the names are shown in GraphEdit. Chances are you'll only need to change the two filter names, not the pin names.

Here is some follow-up
#1 BDA Reciver component =
ADS Instant HDTV BDA ATSC Tuner
(Also inside BDA MPE Filter and BDA Slip De-framer)
#2 under BDA Source Filters
ADS Instant HDTV BDA ATSC Tuner
then if I click on the plus signs I get a bunch of stuff
pin 00 and pin 01 and there are a bunch of registry keys and and mediatype stream and subtype mpeg2 transport under both of them
also what info would you need for the analouge side? because I would really like to try? Smile

If you search for "direct.ini graphedit" you might find some discussion where people added support for other analog devices, which willgive you clues on what to try. I get the feeling it wont be possible with the analog side of this device though.

well I just uninstalled this card I'll be returning it to fry's electronics, it was just redicuolous it shipped with beyond tv3 express which wouldn't work with the analog tuner part or the hauppauge and the funny thing is sage tv's trial just crashed lol
I saw a theater 550 for like 100 bucks that might just do for now Smile
when I get some money I'll get a new antenna and well some hd-tv cards I know will work with this free as beer program Smile
since analouge video will be killed in about two years here I might as well
