I have just reinstalled gbpvr (Latest version)When i go to map the digital channels to epg the channel scan finds no channels, i have not had a problem with this before. The software that comes with my card finds all channels no problem.

I am using a Compro videomate T300.

I am in the uk.

Many Thanks Jase

Hi Jase

I'm in the sameboat with the same card. I have tried 'Got All Media' as well as 'GB-PVR' and that DID find the channels.

Dont know what the prob is ????

Hi Jase

Got a solution. Change the config.xml file in the GBPVR folder so that the the following line reads...

<BDAUsePsiParser>false</BDAUsePsiParser>

... and that should be it.

I also changed the lines...

<BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds>6</BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds>
<BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>15</BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds>

and it seems to work.

...but your probably want to set <BDAUsePsiParser> back to true after tuning things in.

Changing the <BDAUsePsiParser> to false makes no difference for me.

I just put it down to a poor signal on my part, because if i connect my card directly to my aerial gbpvr finds all channels no problem. I normaly have it going into an amp with the signal coming from my sky box. The funny thing is i can then go back to the amp setup and gbpvr receives all channels, but will not find then in the scan.

Many Thanks Jase

Hi,
I've got the same problem - I can pick up channels in other applications but not GBPVR (v0.96.12). I have a VideoMate T200A (basically the same card as the T200/300 but no analogue tuner).
I've tried the drivers that came with the card and the latest from the Compro site with the same results.
I've tried the above fixes and every other fix I can find in the forums (only really change the "<BDAScanType>" tag value to "2") and every combination of those fixes but, although some give me different quality and strength values, the preview window remains blank and no channels are picked up.

Has anyone found a fix to this or if you can point me the right direction I would be very grateful to hear from you!!!

My wife get annoyed when the Aussie stations run overtime and the PVR350 is required for another station, cutting off the end of her program.Big Grin

Cheers!!

Thanks mvandere, you're a champion!
I don't know how i missed your post. I had been searching the forums sparodically for around a month...
Sorry for my late response. I have put in a support request to Compro about downloading old driver versions as I can only find the latest on their site 1.3.3.0.
Thanks again.

I haven't gotten a response from Compro yet so I found the driver here:

COMPRO Driver 1.3.1.24
http://www.pcdog.com/down328/compro_t20013124.zip

No luck with it yet but I'll keep trying...

Well, I've given up and admitted defeat!
I have tried everything I can think of or come across in the forum. This Compro VideoMate T200 just will not work for me in GB-PVR! I've used the correct driver, tried different versions of GB-PVR, reinstalled the OS, only installing the bare nessessities to get it working and nada. I can't pick up anything when I scan for channels.

Does anyone know a way of generating the scan settings manually by transferring them from another application, ie. the registry settings with analogue devices?
I live in Gippsland, Victoria if anyone can send me the scan tuning string for local stations.

Failing that, would anyone like to buy a 2nd hand Compro VideoMate T200a - "hardly used" Wink

Cheers.

I've tried everything I can think of or found in the forum but nothing has allowed me to scan channels in GB-PVR on my VideoMate card. I've used the correct drivers, different versions of GB-PVR, reinstalled the OS...nothing. But I know that the card works in other applications.

Does anyone know a way of transferring the scanned channels from another application, ie. TSO reg settings for analogue devices?
OR
Could someone in Gippsland send me the scan tuning strings for me to enter in manually?

Failing that, I have a "barely used" Compro VideoMate T200a for sale Wink

Cheers.
