I would like to suggest an idea to have an option to convert to DivX a file from the View Recordings menu. Instead of "View" or "Delete", perhaps an option to "Convert to Divx and Delete".
This is good from a form factor perspective because I find that there are times that I watch something and I want to save it. The other option is to make a mental note to convert a particular file before I delete it and that frankly almost never happens. So the files just sit there taking up space.
I guess the only other point would be to whether or not convert immediately or queue it up for night processing. I'd be ok to do it immediately knowing that performance may suffer for a few hours then work on a possible night time queue later if needed. Perhaps we could kick off that processing in low priority on the PC to minimize performance impact.
