Intermittent recordings

Hi!

Since I upgraded to last version, the slow menu problem has been solved.

But since this version, I got a new problem:

The recording service or tray task stop to run properly and many shows I tried to record wasn't.

I succeded to record some, but at some point, the service appears to froze and did not perform anymore recordings. The tray icon also stopped to show the menu.

I tried to perform a clean install (not an upgrade) but this problem is still occuring. It's a very annoying problem, because I can't rely anymore on my computer to record shows and I'll need to re-install my VHS in order to not loose my TV shows.

Any solution about this ?

You will have to consult the log files. To save sub from typing: reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your logs here, and someone (sub?) will take a look =)

Sorry, there is nothing in there that says anything to me. Are those logs really from when it crashed? It looks like you didn't do anything but play internet radio?

Yeah, as stefan said. Those logs dont show an attempt to record anything.

Try again, then repost the logs.

What type of capture device are you using?

... I'm using a Hauppauge PVR-150.

In order to make it run again, I had to kill the gbpvr tray bar task and
the recording service then restart them.

It happened twice in a week.

So, next time it happens, you can zip them up and attach and we can take a better look.
