newby - great reception on tuning wizard, but...

when I go into GBPVR itself, having set up channels to just be on 94 for now (which is where my seperate cable box resides), I dont get very good reception at all in "Live TV"

I'm not even sure it is on channel 94?

am I missing a step?

OK, sorry, better description coming up:
I have a HVR1300 card, just using it in analog for now.

Im using: Direct Recording Plugin, Bleb (UK), no channel changer.

Now I've removed ALL the EPG channels and added my own manually (satalite as channel 94).

Now I get decent reception, but presumably I now wont get the Tv Guide integration.

How can I map the EPG to my custom channels positions
