I have a Dvico Fusion Lite card working in my system along with 2 pvr-250s. I’ve got 3 capture sources set up, the two 250s are devices 1 and 2, and use a Zap2it account that has all my analog channels on it, no hd. The Fusion is set up as device 1 as well, and uses a separate Zap2it account that has only my hd channels listed.

I can correctly record from all 3 cards at the same time if I go into xguide and manually start 3 recordings. However I can’t schedule any reocurring shows via the CDKScheduler in XRecord. When I run priority recordings it runs without any errors, but it schedules most of the recordings on Source 4 or Source 5, which don’t exist on my system. It doesn’t, as far as I can see, ever use Sources 1 or 3. It does schedule recordings for Source 2.

Can anyone help me with this?

Try the following DLL. If you set your PriorityRecordings to no capture source, or have the force attribute set to no, then it will try to use any available capture source that has the program.

This is handled in PriorityRecordings.exe, and doesn't affect XRecord directly, there is a known issue with XRecord and setting the correct capture sources.

I put plugged this .dll into my GBPVR directory and ran Priorityrecordings. It still showed programs as being scheduled on sources 2,4 or 5, but all the recordings I had scheduled on Tuesday night recorded without a problem so it may be working despite the odd capture source numbering. I'll see how it acts tonight when I have shows scheduled to record simultaneously.

Also, I don't specify a capture source when scheduled reoccuring programs. My digital channels have the same channel numbers as their analog counterparts but different channel names (eg. the HD version of WWJ(CBS) is WWJDT) I presumed that if I schedule a recording on WWJDT CDK will know to use the F5 instead of the 250 because of the different channel name, despite them having the same channel number. Is that correct?

Yes, it gets the information from the Program object from the GBPVR Schedule. So if you don't specify a capture source, it will determine the capture source from program object name, or find the program on the first available capture source that doesn't have a conflict. In a maintenance release, I'm going to output the CaptureSource name instead of the numeric id, that way you can better tell which capture source it is actually using.
