I did an episode search with no phrase and selected a genre of documentary. It took quite a while to present the list, but it worked. I checked probably 5 items in the giant list, hit record and it just went back to the search form. I looked and none of the items were scheduled. While some might have conflicted, I doubt all of them did. Either way, it seems there needs to be a more friendly way to resolve conflicts.

Shows that are scheduled to record should show as red in the search results page. If you performed the search again you should see the shows you selected shown in red.

Did you look in Manage recordings following your scheduling to see how they showed up there? If so did you have the option checked to display conflicted shows?

What record settings did you use? This Time and Any Time gernerate a season recording entry. Was one set for the show(s) you selected?

The plot thickens. I have a big mess in my recordings now. There are several 'reoccurring' entries that are marked as manual and show no time. Some of my intended reoccurrings have been marked manual. In the pending category, there are shows I didn't select. It is as if the 'choices' I made earlier from the giant documentary episode search have been misinterpreted as 'reoccurring' and they are not the ones I selected, but perhaps were near them. Perhaps an offset problem? Yikes.

I was going to attach screen captures, but the size limits of the forum for gifs are too restrictive. Before I clean it up, is there anything I can capture to help you diagnose it?

Knowing what recording options you selected when you did your giant documentary search and selected the 5 or so items to record would be a big help in determining what may be occuring. I have not seen this behavior.

I presumed the 0/16 at the end of an address meant from 0-16 and my IPs are in the 50s, so I changed it to 0/100 for good measure. Does that sound right? Seems to work.

normanr will need to address this question....I do not belive that is what the /16 stands for....my ip ends with 102 and I did not have to change the /16.

I noticed that now the TV Guide 'reformats' several times as the page loads, causing the grid and text to jump around for a bit. It works and is only cosmetic, but it is a little strange looking. I saw this in Firefox (v1.5.0.1), but it was jitter free in IE. Hmm... I don't remember seeing it act like this in earlier builds.

You may have been experieincing a load of the cache of the channel icons (if you are using them). I test in both IE and Firefox and the only jumping I have observed is when the cache gets loaded....which should not occur all the time. Does this jumping occur every time?

With bld 33, you have a very significant upgrade. I hope that sub will include it in future releases. Nice job!

normamr will work out a release with sub.....not sure when the next GBPVR release may be.....who knows....perhaps by then we will be up to release 34 or 35.

I don't use the channel icon feature, so it can't be that. I tried it just now on my laptop and it is stable! On the desktop, it does the dance each time I move to a new timeframe (moving with the arrow links). I fired up the desktop Firefox in safe mode (not Windows - Firefox safe mode, meaning no extensions) and it behaved fine. So I removed an extension that wasn't on my laptop configuration and that didn't do it. I'll research and see if I can figure it out. Don't worry about it. I'll report back.

I used the defaults, Once and This Day Only.

One of them did show up, but two others were not ones I selected. It is really bizarre. I am going to clean them up and then try to keep an eye out for this in the future with more of an eye for detail.

I am having a problem with the new build: All of my reocurring recordings are showing up as manual recordings, with no times or show names. These are recordings that I scheduled before I updated the web admin, and all recordings are still being recorded correctly, the problem seems to only be in the web interface.

I am seeing the same behavior. I did a search for 'Monk' and selected one episode for the 16th at 10pm. I clicked record using the default settings of once. It came back showing that it picked Monk on the 16th at 9pm and 10pm and also Monk at 9pm and 10pm on the 23rd! I went to the manage recordings tab and it showed what you saw, a manual recording and the shows appeared in the pending. I cancelled the manual recording set for reoccurring and it also cleared out the pending episodes. It is as if the recording settings that are being used are not the ones shown.

I then went to the TV Guide on the 16th and used the defaults of once to record the 10pm Monk episode and it worked! The manage recordings tab showed up as expected. So... BIG clue here. This problem only happens when using Episode Search.

Nope, I wonder what it is doing. The IP ranges are in the standard CIDR format. It should accept either CIDR or netmask (so for example 192.168.0.0/24 is the same as 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0).

Technically /100 is an invalid address, so I'm guessing that it's getting dropped from the list entirely. Check the logs to see if there's anything there.

similiar to gkreis, the new EWA seems to have messed up the display of reoccurring recordings in the "manage recordings" tab. they seem to be either labelled "manual recording" or have specifics from a particular episode listed now (see attached). everything seems fine in GBPVR.
