Any plans to support XCard?

Yes. My XCard has been delivered by the Fedex guy, but it still sitting on desk in its box. I've got too many other things I need to sort out before I implement XCard support. I've covered a lot of ground in a very short period of time, and I need to continue to focus on the current set of features and make them solid first.
Hopefully in a few weeks I'll start looking at getting the XCard support going.

Probably the wrong place to post this question but here goes:-
What is the difference between an Xcard and, lets say, the Hollywood plus, which is what I own? Would the Hollywood Plus eventually be able to be supported by gbpvr or is there a fundemental reason why not? PN

Someone has written a Direct Show Filter for this card
Sah's Hplus Directshow Driver They point to a description of using graph edit in a forum reference. Any help? PN

Very cool - I will have to find out what I did with my Hollywood plus card... the question will be does it support any type of OSD or non-MPEG output to it so a menu or overlay can be rendered.
Cheers, Andy

Just keep in mind that Hplus, Xcard and Netstream 2000/2000TV/4000 only support 8bit (256color) OSD.
You could try thoses Sah's Hplus Directshow Driver with SageRecoder after Xcard share the same Class ID and Filter Name for the Direct Show Filter.

Its looking good, I feel quite excited.
I have to leave the really technical stuff to you guys 'cos I can just about get c++ to write 'hello world' to the the screen, let alone get involved ClassIDs, filter names, run time libraries and all the other good things that take three shelves on a bookcase. Here's hoping, PN

If you can turn this into a full featured PVR app that supports the TV/Video out and OSD via the Sigma Designs XCard, you can count on me purchasing the product. I have a HTPC with a Sigma Designs XCard and Hauppague PVR-250 card. I'm using a combination of Snapstream's BeyondTV 3 and Jove Player to do my scheduled recording and playback. The output of the Xcard is so much better than the TV out's on even the best Video Cards with TV out....so it would be so cool to have a single PVR app that supported recording/encoding via the PVR-250 card and playback/OSD via the Xcard.
