I would like to see #1 for the same reason.

For #1, set up separate program channel lists for each tuner.
They all show up as one in TV guide, but each channel will be recorded on the tuner you have it set to.
Movie channels on the HDTV card, networks on another card, special channels on yet a 3rd, or whatever.

actually nevermind I just thought about what you said and that won't work either, well might fix reception on one versus another but all channels have movies on occasionally I might want to keep and burn after I edit out commercials.
So no dice there unless I rename each channel and have a guide the size of Rhoad Island like make channel 4 channel 104 on the second tuner and 204 and the third that would not be a good solution
