Nebula won't find channels

GB-PVR looks great, but can't tune this Nebula card. The Nebula software and drivers detect all channels OK, but after removing the nebula drivers and replacing with their BDA drivers GB-PVR won't find any channels. The card is detected and BDA drivers selected, but the tuning process(All regions all channels) detects nothing.

I'm using the latest versions of GB-PVR and the Nebula BDA drivers, running on an Athlon 1.8.

Any help greatly appreciated!

You might have to change <scanBDAtype> (or something similar to that) in config.xml to 2...

can you do a scan, then zip and attach your logs?

Maybe a stupid question but are you actually using the BDA drivers as the standard Nebula drivers are not BDA, if so you will have to download them from the nebula site.

OK sub, will do that. herb, yes they are the BDA drivers, as per my posting, I checked the card functionality with the Nebula native drivers and software, then uninstalled these and installed the BDA drivers, which show up OK in device manager and the GB-PVR software. The card is detected OK and so on.

Ok, will try another scan and save the logs. I'm just about to try some customised drivers too.

Here's the zipped config.exe log following a scan. What other logs are relevant?

I tried changing bdascantype value to 2 as suggested with no change to results.

I only did a short scan on the Crystal Palace xmitter, a full scan gives same results.

Please let me know which other logs would be useful.

Sorry I didnt respond. I did read the logs, but got side tracked and forgot to respond. Unfortunately I couldnt see any obvious cause in the logs.

Just had a thought there is an issue with the driver 1.0.3.6 with tuning in the UK try the earlier version or try http://www.digitv-forum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=1706 which is what I use as it works after hibernate/suspend mode.

Thanks for your attempts at solving this - herb I've already tried these drivers with no luck. Maybe I'll try older BDA drivers.
