Blank screen when watching Live TV

I'm having issues when watching Live TV. When i select live tv, there is only a blank screen. the interesting thing is that a if a show records or is recording, i am able to watch the show just fine. i have recently installed a new DVD burner and have deleted several old programs associated with my old DVD burner. i try not to delete any .dll files located in the system folder, but could i have possibly deleted a shared file that is crucial to the live tv portion of gbpvr? i have not uninstalled and reinstalled gbpvr yet, but that would be my next step. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

Its probably related to the default audio/video decoders on your machine. Have you tried explicitly setting these in the config app?

no i have not. are there any settings that are standard that i should be aware of? i have never messed with those. it has worked fine in the past. but for some reason after doing the DVD burner upgrade, it does not work now. thanks for your help.

Changing DVD player software will often change the decoders installed on your machine, which is probably why you saw this.
