Have you tried the newsgroups? Usually alt.binaries.multimedia has many of the popular shows listed.

I don't know if it's a good idea to post questions like that on here. Legal issues and such... but yes there are alternative ways of finding such media, you just need a good eye .

Maybe, but I'm not putting my files up on Bit Torrent... I might however FTP something to someone I "know", so to speak, if they simply forgot to record it.

why would you have to put your files up on bittorrent to get the first 2 episodes of lost?

It's probably not a good idea to ask here, only because you could start getting a lot of people who find these while googling or something. Then they'll start subscribing and posting requests, thinking that's what the board is (in part) for.

It's not a big deal, but since there's no swapping here, it's best to keep it off the boards.
