Theater plugin....in the UK?!?

Has anyone been able to find a way of getting the theater plugin to work in the UK??

you would need to write your own screen scrapper for a uk site that would generate the same structure. The problem is there are too many countries and no single web site that has all that info for me to incorporate it.

I wouldnt know where to start to be honest....any chance this will be added sometime :o

it would probably take 2 days if you are familiar with programming in C++/C#/java.

download the latest theater source code from wiki. In the source you will see a directory for gettheaterlistings-htmlparser

the main class is theaterlistings. First stage would be change the screen scraping code to work with a UK site. Right now it works with Fandango. The code is ugly but all scraping code is.

The goal is to build a xml file like theaters.xml (attached in the zip) that will at least list the theaters and show the times. Then if you want to go to the next step it would build an xml for the show like attached.

these are all placed in the theater subdirectory under gbpvr. The theater plugin will then load it up.

Jorm, to make this easier for people, you might want to consider creating an Interface framework, that people could implement for their particular region.
