Does anyone now if there is a way to change any settings relating to the TV-Out on a PVR350?

My problem is that the stuff I am watching & recording has got some colour bleed (typically worse on reds) and I am hoping there is something I can do to clean it up?

Anyone have a similar problem?

Mdou,

Initiallly, I also had a VERY bad picture from the pvr350. The red washed out to other parts of the picture and contained horizontal stripes. It turned out to be the SCART cable that was delivered with the board. When I used a s-video cable together with a proper s-vhs to scart converter everything was fine. Maybe that's your issue too.

Another thing may be too look on amontillado's homepage (See: the cask of amontillado). He has several registry tweaks to enhance the picture quality.

Cheers for the reply MaBo.

Already using a very good s-video to scart lead which improves the picture loads compared to the one that came with the 350 (still cheesed off with the fact I have to have the naff cable convertor inbetween the card & my decent cable - I suspect that is probably causing the problem!Wink

Looked at the site you suggested & can only see that the tip 'Enable weave deinterlacing of intervideocodec' may make a difference. However from the wording I suspect this only applies to TV-Out on a graphics card not the PVR350. Anyone know if this the case?

Oh well - just have to put up with it I suppose. [Image: sad.gif]
