Weather plugin problems

Hello, for the past few days, I have been unable to get past the 'Select a City in California' prompt where the plugin displays the message "Downloading Weather Forecast". I have not yet been able to select a city and the plugin returns me to the main menu after going to the screensaver.
It is not my internet connection as I have broadband cable and have no problems surfing, remote desktopping to my computer, etc. It worked the first time I installed it, but since removing and reinstalling everything (due to loss of ability to pause live tv), no dice.

There is a bug in the plug-in. When there are warning indicators returned with the city list (like there are right now in Southern California where there are a bunch of flood advisories posted) the parsing code generates an exception that causes the plug-in to appear to hang. I won't have a chance to post a release on the wiki with updated source code etc. until later this week. A setup program with the fixed version is attached.

I've tried downloading file 3 times. When unzipping it it says its a corrupt file.

I got it....used winrar. Took extracted file and added .zip to it. Then used winrar to unzip and install it. Works nice.

Hmmm...what exactly did you do to get his file to not be uncorrupted? I'm getting the same "corrupted" error, but cannot follow your process.

like it says above. use winrar to extract the file. then add .zip to the end of that extracted file. Then unzip normally.

Has the horizontal info been added yet by chance? Just though i'd ask, i remember mentioning you had decided on adding it. Just waiting so i can skin the rest of the remaining weather stuff for my pm3 skin. Thanks again BTW.

It has been, but I can;t recall if it was in the last bug fix I posted or not. I have been swamped at work and haven't had time to build and post all the release stuff. If you send me a message with your email, I can send you an install that has the stuff included.
