Common Video/Music Database

I believe there was work or talk being done on comming up with a standard or common video/music database for the various plugins. If that didn't ever happen, any thought on a common import or export file format?

The reason I'm bringing this up is that I've noticed quite a few threads lately about how to get files from one proprietary format into another proprietary format. Seems like we need an agreed upon standard of import and export for the various plugins for GBPVR so that this transition can happen easier for the users.

Any thoughts.

I wouldn't mind one.

I'm just working on a plugin that has all of your music it it. Database table is the same as (I think reven's) musicTables. So i could actually use that, but I think it will be same to implement my own database....even though there is only one table.
