The weather button doesn't appear when I use the Flat Blue High Visibility screen. As far as I know, I am using the latest versions of the skin and the plugin.

Weather is enabled in the config.

Look in your gbpvr.exe.log file and see what errors are listed, or post the log file here.

Here is the whole log file, as I don't know what parts you may need:

I have had a quick look at this and am not too sure why it doesn't work - it's running fine for me with the latest weather plugin (v4.03) and I don't get the erros that you do

I do see that on the uploaded skin I have renamed the default task.png for weather (had been playing around with the VA panel), but that shouldn't matter. Any ideas Jeff?

[edit]Do you get any errors in the log with the standard blue skin?

You do need something named task.png for the plugin to load. Also, it looks like you may have a copy of dvd2mpg.dll in your plugin directory. If you do, you should delete it. The function of this plugin is now built-in to the video archice plugin.

I will update the skin on the wiki. 4zm4r3d02 - try renaming the oldtask.png in the weather skin folder to task.png, and deleting dvd2mpg.dll from your plugin directory and see if that fixes it.
cheers,

I removed the dvd2mpg.dll from the plugin directory. Here is a portion of the next gbpvr.exe.log that was created after my next reboot, starting with the first ERROR line and ending with the last one:

There was no oldtask.png in the weather skin folder, but there is a "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\Flat Blue - High Vis\weather\task.png" file.

I then switched back to the default blue skin, and rebooted. There was only one error listed in the log:

10/26/2005 4:48:54 PM.806 ERROR [2] Unable to find node: /settings/SpecialElements/SpecialElement[@name="MenuType"]

The weather plugin works with the default blue skin.

I was having the same problem. Could not get the weather button to show. I then installed v0.94.13 ( I was running v0.92.11) and the problem went away.
