If I copy all of my DVD's to my HD, is it possible to view directly as a .vob or an .iso?

I have daemon Tools and the approriate DVDdecrypter and such, so I can mount iso's.

Questions sounds a little odd I know, but I have the idea that I might be able to make a poorman's escient fireball or Kaliedescape.. Big Grin

gbpvr will automatically mount the iso using daemon (in video library), as long as you have configure it in the config app (just point it to the daemon exe and the virtual drive). most video plugins also allow you to do this. you can use the dvdripper plugin to rip the dvds to your hdd aswell (my videos also allows you to rip dvds, sorry about the plug).

Hi reven, what is best with my videos...the iso and daemon tools, or the vobs on the hard drive.....

And also, should gbpvr/myVideos be handling chapters or just is just default 30 sec/1 min skips that are set up else where.

stick with iso files, you can do more with them (burn them to dvd easily), they do require you to mount them to play, but still i prefer iso files.

Does GBPVR, or MyVideos mount then automatically, or does daemonTools do it when the ISO is called??

I just remember trying it out yesterday, and suddenly this disk was mounted.
