PVR-150 & 250 & Blaster

Some time ago I tried to install a PVR-150 into a system that already had a 250 in it. The blaster in the 150 would not work in that configuration. Has anybody figured a way to use the builtin blaster on a 150 when a 250 is present?

Disable the 250's IR in config, under channel changer, set to none, and set up the 150's instead.
