I had a similar problem recently when my cable company reorganised their channel lineup. I ended up with multiple entries in the 'channel' tab of the config utility.
What I did is empty the epg, delete the channels from the capture source, uncheck all the channels in the channel tab, close and save*, then open and start again by updating the epg, thus starting again.
Note that there is no way (that I could find) to delete the unchecked channels from the channel tab - I had to open gbpvr.mdb in access after step '*' and delete them directly from the database table. If you don't have access to do this, I don't think the unchecked channels left there cause a problem though...
Hope this helps.
