CX23416 MPEG-2 Audio/Video Encoder cards

Hi all.

I would like to know if there is or will be support on cards based on the CX23416 MPEG-2 audio/video encoder chip other than cards from Hauppauge?

I can see that the Hauppauge PVR-150MCE card is based on that chip but will a card from another manufacturer like Club 3D's ZAP TV1100 also work with GBPVR?

Yes, GB-PVR already supports many cards based on this chipset, for example the Hauppauge 250 (rev 3), and PVR150/500.

You should be able to get it to work, but you'll probably have to add a new section to the direct.ini file with the appropriate driver names for this devices. This has been done successfully by other users to get cards like the Leadtek PVR2000 etc working.
