Hi

I have installed the o2garbber and it works fine. With help for the forum I have also made a bat file, which will make the o2grabber update my XML-file.
GBPVR will automaticly update the EPG from the XML-file once a day.
Now I just have to let the windows scheduler activat the bat file once a day.
This is my problem. It damands a user password, which i do not have on this PC.

Has anyone an ida how to solve this?
Best regards

From memory this is a bug in Windows. It has to have a password protected account to run Scheduler.

Either put a password on your user account, or create another account just to use for scheduler. It's annoying but it works.

I am very impressed how active this forum is. After few minutes I have the first answer.

Thanks Simon.

I do not want to have a login box at start up, as i want boot directly into GBPVR. With at tool (tunepu) I have managed to remove the login box. Do you think the login box will return i I define a new user?
Best regards

you could define a password for the user and use tweakxp or something like that to boot into the user without login-box....

forgot to mention: this works without adding a new user.

Could you not just call this batch file from UpdateEPG.bat (or add it's contents to it)? This way GBPVR will automatically do it before the EPG update. This is how how automate my EPG grabbing.

bluesxman's suggestion would probably be the easiest one

I'm sorry but I do not understand exactly what you mean bluesxman. Please explain it for a beginner.

You can create a file called UpdateEPG.bat (if you don't already have it). This file will run, always, before GBPVR tries to import your epg data. So, if you in that file add the line (but exchange it to what works in your case)

path\to\my\batfile\that\runs\o2grabber

then o2grabber will run and download EPG data before gbpvr imports it.

Just to add to Stefan's reply...

UpdateEPG.BAT needs to exist in the GBPVR installation directory, typcially c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr - if it's not this, then you should know what it is!

If you don't already have one, and I'll assume you don't as you don't know what it is, the simple thing to do would be to copy your existing batch file to the GBPVR directory and rename it UpdateEPG.BAT

Hope this helps.
