Hi,

I am looking for people to help me develop a new skin. I have done alot of the ground work (working in paint shop pro) and need some artisitc help woth icons (folders and file images) and prehaps some work with the OSD (my development machine is seperate from the machine with the hauppauge card in so i can't view the OSD on the computer i do the work on). Anyway, if you want to help (or just want a preview) drop me a PM with you mail adress and i will post over what i have done so far.

Right im nearly there. Just the guide and OSD to go....

Is there anyway of getting a full list of supported colour names for skins that use these (such as the TV guide skin). Generating buttons is fine but i'm having trouble getting the exact colour on want on these ones.

Cheers,

Matt

BTW, the next release includes the Girder channel changer you wanted. Event.exe wasn't working for you because it uses the clipboard to transfer information to Girder. The recording service runs under a different 'session' than Girder so cant share data via the clipboard. I got it working by using the Internet Event Server which connects via TCP/IP.

BTW2, I'm keen to see your skin so make sure you email it over when you're happy with it. If you need any help, let me know.

Will do. There are a few bits here and there where changing the layout seems to confuse thekey presses (actually only on the recordings screen and i see that is changing soon acording the the .xml file) but i like it anyway [Image: smile.gif]

Also, i'm not too graphically minded so things like icons look a bit rough (though i nicked your headphone image - is that ok?) but hopefully i can work on those in the future.

Cheers for the girder work - that will be fantastic!

Quick question - is there any way to alter the spacing between the buttons on the guide pop up menu (the cancel, record, season and watch buttons?)

I dont thinks so at the moment. I can add it, but it wont be included for a week or so (release after the current one I'm working on).

No problem - I'll shrink my buttons for now then - i'm sure there are plently more important things for you to do first [Image: smile.gif]
