Recordings going on for Too Long

spotted an interesting problem yesterday, I'd recorded the last program from Cbeebies (story makers for my daugther) and it recorded 15 hours of TV, including the first hour correctly.

I've checked and I think the problem is based on the information from the TVGuide, it's not reporting the end of the final program, and thus the closure of a channel is included into the end of the programme, AKA 15 hours of nothing !

my system is XP SP 2 on a 2GHz P4, with 1gb of ram, 80Gb hard disk, and 1Gb network with a Hauppage 350 card. All is working fine (except redrat (becuase I'm not sure how to set it up...but thats another story)).....

my TV source is a PACE Sky digital box, and I'm getting the TV Guide from Bleb UK....

any thoughts ?

If it kept recording, then changes are something crashed in the recording services, leaving not enough intelligence to tell the drivers to stop at the appropriate time. Take a look in your GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log and see if there is any ERROR messages.
