Hi,

I've just upgraded to GB-PVR 0.95.11 which seems to be working well, but the EPG update fails with

Failure in ChannelFactory:ConfusedtoreChannels(): The field is too small to accept the amount of data you attempted to add. Try inserting or pasting less data.

I'm using listing2.xml from bladerunnerpro, which worked with the previous version of GB-PVR when adding the channel info as per

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=10438

I read that 0.95.11 should be able to read the file anyway, but neither the native xml file or the edited one seem to be able to load.

I've attached the listing2.xml file if it helps

Thanks
Hayden

Sub, could this have something to do with the new genre/rating inclusion you added?
I'm not always right

I get the following error:
Failure in ChannelFactory:ConfusedtoreChannels(): The inststruction INSERT INTO contains the following unknown fieldname: rating. make sure that you spelled the name correct and try again.

This a translation from dutch.

aAtrRi, your problem sounds different. It sounds like you've copied you gbpvr.mdb from an older version.

Hayden, you program is caused by your XMLTV file having a really long rating. Another user had this yesterday. In their case it was "drugs-enofalcoholmisbruik" where I was expecting something like "PG13" or "R18"

I've corrected the problem for the next build, which will probably be out in the next day or so. If you need to get it going in a hurry, and have Microsoft Access, you can just increase the size of the "rating" field on the PROGRAMME table.

Great, you were right again. I put the old gbpvr.mdb back under the impression that I had too, probably mixed up by the advice to back it up before updating.Rolleyes

Thanks sub, I ended up setting it to 255 but the error is still the same.

I can't see the rating field in any other table.

As a test I set the other character fields to 255 as well, but the error still pops up

Thanks

I've just tried your listing2.xml file. It imports okay here, but I have already made a change to my version for dealing with the long ratings. I'll have this release publically available in the next day or so.

Thanks for looking at it, I'll just wait for the next release.
