Configuring GB-PVR to use XMLTV is pretty straight forward. When you setup your capture source, select to use the XMLTV EPG source. Click the settings button, then browse to the .XML file produced by your XMLTV software.

...which XMLTV software to use, and how is run is a different matter, and outside of the scope of GB-PVR.
