Installing New Skin help

Hi.

I download some new skins, unziped them in the skin directory and ran config to select the new skin.

When the GBPVER software restarts, I see the new skin *ONLY* on the main menu. All sub-menus show the original skin.

What am I doing wrong?

Sorry, I downloaded http://starling01.home.mindspring.com/Th...ction.html pastoral skin.
I get the first screen just fine, but the sub-skins are the default original skins.

I also tried the Contour http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Skin/ContourSeries skin with same results. First menu ok, sub-menus are the original skin.

Download the collection from the wiki so that you get the latest, which includes pastoral, floral, etc. and the appearance manager.

make sure the zip file is in the same directory as gbpvr.exe (the parent of skin) and unzip it there.

"Install The Appearance Manger using the Plugins tab of the config program"

I run config, select plugin tab, and I am completly lost from that point on. How do I install the Apperance Manager?

On the left side of the plugins tab there is a tree structure of checkboxes with labels. click on the "Appearance" label, then move it up or down using the up/down arrows (somewhere in the visual nieghborhood, or maybe on the keyboard-don't recall) to where you want it displayed in the menu list. Then make sure the checkbox is checked.

Click the OK button at the bottom of the window, wait a short while, then restart gbpvr.exe.

Ok, I moved it up into the visual portion so that I can see it now. Last question I hope how do I select the Floral page? I tried all settings that I can see, but no cigar.

From the skin navigate to the appearance button and select it. You will be taken into the appearance plugin. Tryout the arrow keys, up, down, left, right, just to get a feel.

Navigate to the Main Background button then go right. A new button will appear with the name of a theme. Use up/down to change themes. When you get to Floral, use right to scroll through the backgrounds. When you find one you like, go left back to the Main Background button, then down to Save and select it.
