Appearance Manager plugin question

I downloaded The Collection and just installed the Appearance Manager (probably a bad idea), and now GBPVR won't start. I removed the plugin, and it still won't start up.

I don't know much about plugins, but is there any way the plugin could have changed something in GBPVR itself while it was installed? Any idea how to fix it?

I guess I'll make a backup of the GBPVR folder and start over again for now...

Look in the gbpbvr.exe.log file before you uninstall anything. It should tell you what the problem is.

Thanks, Jeff. Actually, the error there is:

1/21/2006 8:27:02 PM.218 ERROR [2] Unable to locate specified key command file: OnScreenKeyboard.xml

I think I'll try installing the whole Collection and see if that fixes it.

That doesn't fix anything. There is no file called "onscreenkeyboard.xml" anywhere. There is skin.xml in the onscreenkeyboard folder. Very strange - does the "Appearance" prefix in the error mean that Appearance Manager is generating the error?

Look in the blue skin folder and copy the OnScreenKeyboard folder to the Collection skin folder.

We might be getting somewhere now. The "Appearance" error went away, but now I have these errors:

Maybe I should delete all my skins but Blue and try again?

Oh boy - now I'm getting even more errors. I think I'll disable all but the basic plugins and if that works, add them back one at a time.
