Music Player Plugin Problem

Jeff.....I have music by Andre Rieu. There is one of those spcial characters (acent mark) above the in in Andre.

In music player all the tracks are read in without a problem.....however if I go to add one to the playlist or just play a track the recoding service reeboots.

Here is the log from the Music Player load process.....you can see the title is not correct....it has really weird characters in it. I am assuming this is what is causing the restart.....trying to pass these characters in as part of the directory name.

Were there any errors logged in the gbpvr.exe.log? Also, can you paste in his name with the correct characters so I can try to simulate this at home?

No errors in the GBPVR log and I can play the albumn via the web admin.

The correct characters are: My Music/André Rieu/New Year's in Vienna

Sorry. The last few months have been crazy at work; I have had little time to do anything else.

Godo news/bad news. The good news is that I decide that I should at least try running with the name you gavce to see that I can indeed reproduce the bug. The bad news (or maybe it is good too) is that it worked just fine for me. I could read a directory with that name and the log and UI looked just fine. I do have a provate build of the music player on my machine, so maybe I fixed this somewhere along the line without knowing it. If you want to try it, this is the update. Note that there have been some skin file changes. In the junk box skin there is a new image called Screen Saver. You can look in the blue skin to see what it looks like.

Thanks Jeff.....I'll give this a try as soon as I am done recording tonight. The directory loads ok with the current version of MusicPlayer....it is when I add it to the queue that it gacks.

Looks like I am past the MusicPlayer problem and have ventured into a GBPVR problem.

Here is the GBPVR Log....any thoughts? I can't tell if MusicPlayer passed a bad path to the MVP Play or if GBPVR created a bad path from the MusicPlayer call.

I have attached both the GBPVR Log and the MusicPlayer Log.


Any thoughts?
