Hello All,

I am pretty new to all this, i have been using GBPVR on my PC for the past couple of weeks and it all has been working fine, recording from the schedule etc, then in the past couple of days my recordings are just completely blank, creating large files but there is no sound or picture. I have no idea why this is happening, i am using a Nova-T card and are using the latest MUX's posted on here, the ones downloaded from twinhan. Can anyone help me as i am at a complete loss to what is happening. This is what is put in one of the log files, hope this helps (i only recorded for a couple of minutes to see if it worked)

If you try to view that channel in GB-PVR's live tv, does it work?

yes it does, I have just noticed that the files it is creating will play back through my MVP, but not straight on the computer, either through GBPVR or through mediaplayer as they used to, they are just blank! any suggestions? Have i got codec problems potentially or something like that?

Can you drag them into a DVD player program like Power DVD? if they play there, I'd bet on a decoder issue.
3x MVPs (not used anymore)
XBMC
Hauppauge 150 via SVideo
Comcast Digital Cable
Motorola HD Cable box channel changed via Firewire

Yeah, it sounds like you dont have an MPEG2 decoder installed.

I'd agree it has to be a decoder issue. Which decoder are you using? Try installing a different one and give it another go.
