When I select a show to record in GBPVR it shows up in the Pending list. When it's near time to record I see a message similar to "Getting ready to record <Show Name>..". However, the show never records. Also, I cannot delete the show from the pending list. I double click on it and select "Cancel", but it never goes away. Anyone else ever run into this?

I have a Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150 card running under Windows 2000. I can record just fine using the WinTV2000 application that comes with the card. I have the latest version of GBPVR (downloaded yesterday). Before installing GBPVR I installed .NET 1.1, Windows 2000 SP4, and MDAC 2.8.

Thanks!

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

As a test I just attempted to record Family Feud from 5:30PM to 6:00PM. Same result. Did not record and I cannot delete the entry from the pending list. Attached is a zip of the logs.

Thanks,

Are there some GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log files aswell? You've got pretty much every log file except the one I was going to look in first.

I just checked the gbpvr folder again. I zipped all the log files there. There are some GBPVRRecordingService.exe*.log files, but none with "native" in the filename. Maybe that's a clue? I checked "Services" and the GB-PVR Recording Service is running. I can also see it's process from Task Manager. I also checked the EventLog and all I see is the service started message. No errors.

One thing that is non-standard about my system is that everything including the operating system is installed on drive D: instead of C:. Any chance something might be expecting GBPVR to be installed on drive C:? Let me know of anything else you want me to look at or try. Thanks for looking into this!

Possibly. While I dont explicitly try to limit it to the C: drive, I dont test it on any other drive, so it could be the source of your problem.

I have O/S on C: and 'program files' including GBPVR on E: with no (gbpvr) problems.

The problem was definetly having both windows 2000 and GBPVR installed on the D: drive instead of C:. Long story, but I had it set up as a dual boot system with another OS on the C: drive. When I went back to using Win2K and GBPVR on the C: drive an everything worked just fine!
