Volume bar and Live tv preview in guide

It would be great if gbpvr showed a volume bar on screen when you change the volume or mute.

Another thing would be to have live tv playing either in background or preview window when you are in the tv guide.

You can already do that assuming the skin specifies the location to put the video inset window.

Hmmm very interesting, do you know of any skins that do this?

None. Its only been supported since the v0.96.8 release that was made yesterday. Give it a few days and I'm sure there will be a few skins that support it.

If you dont what to wait, you can always edit the "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\Blue\tv guide\skin.xml" file yourself to enable it. There is a commented out example in the blue skin.

No...well yes, but not via this inset window stuff, only via the semi-transparent OSD that has been in GB-PVR for a long time (F11 when watching TV).
