OK, love my GBPVR PC and looking to expand into the world of MPV.

But as far as I can tell they don't seem to be available in Australia. (please enlighten me if I am wrong!)

I travel to the US for work a few times a year and could pick one up there
- but can the US (NTSC) model be switched to output a PAL signal?
Core2-E2180, 1G RAM, 1Gb-5450 Silent, 2Tb +300g HDDs.
Three tuners: Twinhan DVB-T x 1, Hauppauge Nova 500T (dual)

DTB Digital SD + HD content (PAL-MPEG2-AC3).
Custom case made very quiet. Zalman CPU cooler.
Sits in rack with other HiFi.

ParaLED to show tuner activity.

Display: 42" 1920x1080p Panasonic Plasma

I knew that I had seen this somewhere here and that it was possible.

However, the media mvp is getting harder to find in normal retail stores like bestbuy and circuit city. This is the case around here anyway.

I'm using a couple of US NTSC model MVPs here in NZ without any problems. I did require a travel adapter so it was pin compatible. The supplied power adapter is 110-240v.

Thanks for the good news Smile

I probably would have tried bestbuy circuit city but it sound like that may be futile.

Does anyone know of any good online deals?

Is this one real or is someone teasing?

Here is a guy selling a second hand one in New Zealand on Trademe (like Ebay)

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Computers/Compo...176093.htm

NZ$150 reserve.

I got my two off ebay in the UK. Like Sub I just needed the AC pin adaptors to power them, although they use scart on the back onstead of SVideo and RCA connectors for composite and audio. (I would have preferred not to have Scart..)
