Channels duplicated

I have noticed that a few channel names are duplicated. I am receiving my broadcasts from emley moor transmitter. But on further inspection of these channels I have noticed they are broadcasting slighty out to the other channels or may not have audio.

Some even have different adverts which would suggest that I'm picking up from more that one transmitter, or are they doing for freeview what they do for sky.

You have your normal national bbc/itv channels but also the local ones.

On running showshifter these channels are also picked up but given the channel numbers of 100+

has anyone else noticed this or any ideas

I have a dvb nova-t usb and in the option to map epg to channels, all channels are duplicated with (1) after their name. e.g. BBC1 and BBC1(1). These duplicates do not have audio.

I just ignore them..

I didn't think that you could pick up different transmitters with dvb as you have to specify the transmitter in the config, which then configures the mux that it connects to.
