I am not sure if this has been asked, or is possible, but I'd like to have the facilty to have a cached/saved Search facility, which would tell the WebAdmin to pop up a little screen on login (or even to GBPVR) and say, hey your show has appeared...

i.e. a program being sought, that was not originally in the EPG, appears in the EPG at some later date.
Cheers

I noticed this request bumped genre down another notch in the wiki.
The webadmin interface is awesome. I use the GBPVR front end with my MediaMVP, but when I’m at the computer the WebAdmin gets a real workout. The way it displays conflicts mixed in with the scheduled recordings makes “choosing” a breeze.
A big thumbs up!

But unfortunately a good number of people have to use a separate guide that lists by genre (and an additional Zap2It download), just to find the sifi , horror, war & comedy movies that are coming on this week…

In my humble opinion genre is what separates an EPG from a normal TV-Guide.

Mate, I'm really sorry about that ... Smile genre ? who needs genre anyway LOL :p

I use GBPVR almost in exactly the same way as you, with MVP but I use WebAdmin from Work ... it's a fantastic enhancement I'll agree ...

Position does'nt necessarily mean order of completion......it is just a best guess on effort to implement. Something that can benefit everyone that uses the EWA may get done sooner than something that is specific to one type of EPG.

Don't sweat it....we'll get to it. Smile

There is actually another request in this message....allow display of the Guide to be filterable by Genre. I have added this to the wiki as well.

lol, thanks guys. Smile

I guess I hadn’t thought of it being a new request, because I figured everything would fall into place when genre is added to the search.
If you’re familiar with MyGuide V2.5 on the Zap2It forum, the “show mark” feature is the one I cant live without these days. The search area in WebAdmin would be a great place to give the same type of listing.
Thanks again for a great addition to GBPVR!
