a few guys seems to have the same problem then me:

i try to setup gbpvr with a digital bda-device (terratec cinergy 1200 dvb-c).
watching tv works fine but i can´t use timeshift or records. i ALWAYS get a
mpg-file with 0kb-size...

here´s my config:
- windowsXP-sp2
- terratec cinergy 1200 dvb-c, bda-driver 4.7 (beta from terratec, but seems
to be the same as from knc1 "philips bda/dvb capture driver 4.7.0.0")
- gbpvr-version v0.96.8
- output muxchecker
Code:
GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine:

Found: InterVideo Multiplexer
FILE: C:\Programme\InterVideo\Common\bin\ivimux.ax
VERSION: 3.0.86.0

Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
FILE: C:\Programme\devnz\gbpvr\AutoDVRconvert v1.3\MpgMux.ax
VERSION: 5.0.0813

Found: ShowShifter MPEG PS Writer
FILE: C:\Programme\Home Media Networks Limited\ShowShifter\MpegWriter.ax
VERSION: 3.12.0.2945

If you're running WinXP SP1 or higher, you will also be able to use the built-in DVR-MS mux filter

i try all three multiplexer, but everytime i get 0kb-recordings (again - watching live-tv works fine) ...... :confused:

maybe sub knows why, thx for help

If you do a search here most people use intervideo 5.0.0.1307 which seems to cause the less amount of problems. If you don't have this then try ms-dvr and see if this lessons you recording problems. Be warned ms-dvr will need converting to mpeg2 if you want to burn to dvd, it's a fairly quick process with the right tools.

certainly i searched the forum - but no solution fix my problem.
ms-dvr don´t work too, just getting file with 6-7kb but no correct recording....

i download intervideo windvd-creator 2 (with 3.0.86.0) - i don´t find a newer version....
did u mix up intervideo with cyberlink - i thought there was a version 5.0.0.1307......

ivimux.ax IS the intervideo mux I believe.

Try and get hold of the cyberlink mux. This is the one that people use with the most success.

However, that fact that dvr-ms does not work for you may indicate that you have other problems.

Can you set it to use the DVR-MS mux, then reproduce the problem and zip and attach a new set of logs?

i feel sad.....

for testings i install media-portal, recordings with ms-dvr works... so the problem should not be my system/hardware
maybe my entries in bda.ini are wrong?

Code:
[TerraTec Cinergy 1200 DVB-C]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-C
FILTER_TUNER=Cinergy 1200 DVB-C Tuner (BDA)
FILTER_CAPTURE=Cinergy 1200 DVB-C Capture (BDA)
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

i also switch to 96.12 - no changes

I dont know. You'd have to check them in GraphEdit.
