Media MVP

Im thinking about getting the Media MVP and was wondering if there is limitations that gb-pvr can do on a Media MVP vs on the computer. I guess what I'm asking is: what a computer running GB-PVR can do more than a Media MVP running gb-pvr on your TV. Also do all the updates refer to Media MVP also and not just gb-pvr running on the computer?

The MVP is a slower to respond to button presses on your remote.

The MVP cant watch DVD (though there is a plugin that kind of allows you to do it, without the menus etc).

The MVP cant watch HDTV content.

The MVP hardware only has support for MPEG1/MPEG2/MP3. Other file types can be awkward - for example, playing divx files requires server side transcoding to MPEG2 etc.

Other than that, they're pretty similar.
