Aspect ratio help on 16:9 tv

I did some looking but I couldn't find anything...


I'm trying to display 4:3 content (recorded by gbpvr) on a 16:9 TV in 4:3 mode.


Basically, I'm looking for the aspect ratio setting that will add vertical black bars instead of horizontal. Can any help me or point me in the right direction?

Ha! I was a victim of my own creativity.


I forgot that I had changed the aspect setting for my old TV. I put the default settings back in and boom - works perfectly.
