Twinhan DVB-S Card (102g)

I've installed this card in my system and confirmed that it is recognized by both the Twinhan software and other DVB apps (MT, ProbDVB). However if I go in to create a device in GBPVR and select the BDA option it does not see the card in my system if I click the box to only show detected cards in the system.

Twinhan DVB-S is listed as one of the choices so I assume that the card is defined correctly in the ini file (I have not changed this).

Any suggestions?

P.S. I'm located in North America if that matters to anyone...

You probably have the old Twinhan proprietary DTV drivers installed. You need to install the BDA drivers to use this device with GB-PVR. You can download them from the Twinhan site.

Use BDADriverV1.2.3.6. This is the BDA driver GBPvr is using.

OK, that worked, now I just have to figure out why it isn't scanning the transponders...

Is anyone out there using DVB-S? I can't find any detailed instructions on configuring GBPVR so any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I'm using a Twinhan DVB-S card. There shouldnt really be much you need to do. Make sure you've selected the correct satellite and have the LNB settings correct.

OK, I've successfully installed the latest BDA drivers from TwinHan and confirmed that my setup works (using MyTheatre).

The problem I have now is that during the scan (Map Channels) it is only coming back with a list of channel names of Unknown1. 2 of these channels are in the center window.

Please see the attached logs as well as some screen captures of my setup.

What part of the world are you in? Are the channel names likely to use the english/latin character names?

I'm in the US so it shouldn't be a problem with the characters I think.
