As the title says, I'm looking for a way to overwrite the files created in Manual Recordings; this is because with the external recorder I am running a batch file which records to a different file location (but with the same name), and would like to use another batch file to then move this file to copy over the one GBPVR tries to create in its recordings folder (which remains empty).

Seemingly this file is protected at the moment though, and can't be deleted or over-written. Is there any way around this?

Thanks!

The recordings arent write-protected, but if the file is in use at the time, then Windows wont let you delete or overwrite them.

OK thanks; seems as if I was just testing on a dodgy file, which, for some reason, Windows still won't let me delete (even after the computer has been switched off). That added to the fact that I can't seem to move or delete any of the recorded files from a batch file (just get the access denied message) made me wrongly assume that they were being write protected. Guess I'll have to look elsewhere to solve the problem.

By the way, should the PostProcessing.bat file run whenever a recording ends; including when it is ended manually?

Thanks again,
