Episode Logging

Perhaps this feature already exists, but I've not found it anywhere.

I'd like the ability to log the episode names of the programs I record to prevent gbpvr from recording episodes I've already seen. I know you can prevent it from recording duplicates of already recorded shows; but that only works if you keep the old recording.

Have you tried the tracking built into Xrecord?

recording tracker is a utility that does exactly what you want to do. Properly set up, it saves a list of all recordings, and if you want, it will purge and duplicates from your recording cue.
