Service accessing the internet?

My firewall warns me that gbpvrservice.exe wants to access the internet. What is the service trying to access? This happened after I manually updated the EPG.

The GB-PVR Recording Service doesnt access the internet, except to retrieve listings if you're using Zap2it or Bleb. The recording service does listen on a TCP/IP port for incoming requests from the GB-PVR client.

Most firewall software will tell you what its trying to access, so where does your software say its trying to go? Its probably just a false triggering from a DNS request or similar.

If you're using XMLTV epg, it may have gone looking for icon files (if they're listed in your XMLTV file).
