I've haven't been able to get RenameRecording to work, except manually, so I wondered if it had to do with the path.

My recorded shows are on a separate hard drive (f), do I need to include the path in PostProcessing.bat?

The date of my version is 05/05/05 (really Smile) and is named RenameRecordings.exe. I also store all my recordings on a different hard drive (d). The line I use for my PostProcessing.bat is
Code:
renamerecordings %1 > renamerecordings.log
Try routing the command to a log file to help with debugging the problem.

My version is named "RenameRecording.exe" My batch file is:
RenameRecording.exe %1 > rename.log

what does the log file say? I would guess that it is a problem with the batch file not running correctly, instead of a problem with the renaming utility.

It has not created a log file either. I think you're right, prob is w/ batch file. My PostProcessing.bat file is a single line file:
RenameRecording.exe %1 > rename.log
[SIZE="1"]v0.98.13b
PVR Server - P4 1.6 Win2000
Hauppauge 150 & 250
250GB dedicated media HDD
GB-PVR + XBMC[/SIZE] Smile

That should work. The complete path is passed to the batch file when it is executed. Also there is a newer version of RenameRecordings that is on the wiki.

try adding this line before your renamerecording line:

echo "it works">test.txt

and record something. Look for test.txt in the gbpvr directory after the recording finishes. This will tell you if postprocessing.bat is being called.

Test.txt was not created, so my PostProcessing.bat is not being called.

FYI - Commercial Detection is set to: None

try double clicking on postprocessing.bat to see if it runs correctly. If it works, you should have a test.txt file created.
