Cant watch TV, "RUN EPG"!!

After running the tuning assistant, and EPG Update, it jsut keeps telling me to do it over and over.
In the config. set up, under the "channels" tab, there is no channels listed now either, even though I went through and found all 70 that I have on cable.
Can someone help me through this. I dont want to have to install winXP x32 just to run the Power Cinema software.

BTW Does it not auto scan the channels for you? Or do you have to enter each one manually?

Can you be a bit more explicit on how you set up everything in Config? How are your cpture devices set up? What are you using for the EPG settings?

What EPG source are you using? (XMLTV/DVB/Zap2it/None)

What type of capture device do you have?

EPG? well its set to NONE, it wont keep any other setting, just tells me its wrong; whatever else I try to use.

It'll only tell you its wrong if it is wrong.

The EPG, is your Electronic Programme Guide...the list of channels and the show times.

Which country are you in? If you're in the US, you should set it to use zap2it. Most of the rest of the world uses XMLTV. You need to do this to set up your channel list. If you dont, then you cant use GB-PVR.

So which EPG plugin are you using, and did you click the settings button to set it up? What exactly did you enter?

When you setup you capture source, you need to select which EPG plugin you're using. Its labelled 'EPG Source'. Built in options include zap2it,xmltv,DVB EBG, Bleb.
