I jut wanna make sure.

Is there any solution for selecting a audio stream when an avi or ogm has several? So far i've only encountered a few files which uses this but its pretty irritating to not be able to watch them.

There are a few posts about this problem in a tv environment where sub has suggested specifying audilang in direct.ini. Can't seem to get this to work im afraid so i guess it doesnt apply to this area.

Cheers

No, there is no mechanism for doing this with AVI files in GB-PVR. It is possible with MPEG files, but only if you're using the default 'MPEG Audio Decoder' filter.

This only relates to video capture, not playback of files you already have.

It could be done! Wink Install ffdshow, configure it using keyboard inputs and define shortkey for to change audio streams. In GBPVR config must be selected audio decoder as windows default, otherwise it might not use ffdshow. Oh, and also ffdshow must be as "default" or "preferred" in its filter merit settings. But be aware that it depends from ffdshow version also. I suggest beginning from CVS daily build version, latest was something in March 2006.
--- GBPVR system ---
Server: homemade (ASUS MB, AMD x2 5200+, 4G RAM, 3.2TB RAID5, 1Gbit) + DVB-T Hauppauge HVR1300 (h264 TS) + IPTV
Clients: ASUS Pundit-R (P4 3.2GHz Northwood!, 1G RAM, zero HDD - netboot, WinLIRC to use Hauppauge remote on system without Hauppauge devices) + IBM ThinkPad T42 (pvr over 802.11g) + FSC N560 WM6 (802.11g) + etc Smile
