Scheduling reoccurring using past shows in guide

One annoyance is if I want to schedule a reoccurring show, I have to schedule using a show that hasn't started yet.

For instance, I have my EPG download set for 7 days. The Amazing Race 9 was just on an hour ago. I can't schedule a reoccuring for it until it shows up in the guide again. Maybe tomorrow.

I wish I could go into the guide to tonights episode and create a future reoccurring for when it shows back up in the guide again.
