hey guys, i figured it's best if i keep my q's in one running thread, instead of putting it in lots of different threads.

So here are my system specs:

P4 1.9ghz
512mb ram
120gb hdd
DNTV Live Pro - bda drivers etc.
ATI Radeon 9250 Sapphire

Now, i'm using GB-PVR, as i like the interface and looks and it seems to have really good support.

My questions atm:

atm, all i have in terms of media, are a couple of music video clips, which are in avi format, and then some movies, which are divx, and a couple of episodes of "the oc". The music video clips work fine. The Movies and The episodes of 'the o.c' are not working properly

When i plug it into the monitor, it works fine. But when i plug it into the TV, the audio begins to play, but the video is stuck on the selector screen.

Secondly, I couldn't get the FM tuner set up on the thing either. Where do i find the settings for it?

At this point in time, that's all i can think off, but if it's ok with the mods, can i keep this as a running thread for a couple of days till i get this working nicely?

You might find you need to select the TV as the 'primary' monitor in windows display properties.

Look on the wiki for the 'My Videos' plug in, never done it myself but I believe that it can burn shows to dvd.

Oh, and welcome to GBPVR Big Grin

when the TV is connected, it is the only device connected, so it is primary already

When the monitor is connected, it is the only device.

Basically, the TV is in one room, the monitor is in the other, and i pick up the htpc and move it around.

Will double check 2morrow morning to see if it is primary, just incase.

You don't. GBPVR will select a free one at each time.

hmm ok after ages of trying stuff, i simply am stuck

I'd like to be able to somehow select between my digtal tv, and my digital satellite. I don't want it to 'choose' by itself. Is this at all possible?

STill can't find a place to work out the FM radio either Sad
